Newly taken over Chief Secretary Deepak Singhal to call for an all
business Chamber meeting soon
Upbeat on industry revival in Uttar
Pradesh, the newly appointed Chief Secretary Deepak Singhal today said the
state would soon be best place in India to do business.
This assurance came in a meeting with
an eminent industrialist and President, PHD Chamber Dr Mahesh Gupta, the Chief
Secretary had. Dr Gupta to initiate an all Business Chamber Meeting soonest as
possible in order to work out a holistic approach with multiple stake holders
to create a conducive business environment in the
state.
While discussing the business
environment in Uttar Pradesh, Mr Singhal applauded PHD Chamber for its
contribution in supporting Uttar Pradesh trade and industry. Mr Singhal reposed
faith in Dr Gupta’s suggestion to have a collective meeting with all apex
business chambers and industrial associations including FICCI, CII and Assocham
with the Chief Secretary.
Chief Secretary has suggested that
each chamber should identify the challenges being faced by the industry in the
state and also come out with the suggestions. He has promised that UP
Government will take an immediate action to resolve the identified issues. A
high level meeting will be held before 15th August 2016, to
determine the future course of action.
Appreciating the Chief Secretary for
the initiative, Dr Gupta said sincerity reflected in the attitude of Mr Singhal
who in return assured that “UP would soon become the best place to do business
in the state” with a business friendly approach.
